Letizia Magaldi is an expert speaker at Unioncamere & Ficei’s “Renewable Energy Communities in Industrial Areas” conference

On Wednesday 21 December Ficei and Unioncamere organize the Conference "Renewable Energy Communities in Industrial Areas: A concrete step to relaunch the industrial and productive sectors of the country", which will take place at 11 am in the Ancient Oratory of the Bergamaschi Archiconfraternity in Rome.

“Recent data shows that the the Renewable Energy Communities (CER) are becoming at the center of attention of of Italian political strategies and citizens - explains Letizia Magaldi, Executive Vice President of Magaldi Green Energy, one of the invited speakers at the Conference -. Today we can say that the CER in Italy are a feasible and positive path towards energy independence, which is fundamental for reducing both the environmental impact and the increased costs of energy, as well as for addressing energy poverty. The major focus on the importance of CER is not the only the optimistic data, but also that Italy is significantly investing in the installation of energy storage systems. Magaldi Green Energy – with its innovative MGTES technology, the first thermal energy storage sand battery that has been patented in the world – has paved the way for a new green awareness processes which is spreading worldwide. Storage is an essential and central element within the model of energy communities, because it allows energy to be conserved and released on demand. Coupled with photovoltaics, our innovative MGTES can supply green heat and is able to power industrial processes, industrial districts, multiple factories and the CERs themselves. Being a modular, flexible and customizable solution, MGTES can be configurated in the exact number of modules necessary to store and produce the amount of thermal energy needed by those who use it".

The conference program includes institutional greetings from Antonio Visconti, President of FICEI, and Andrea Prete, President of Unioncamere. Together with Letizia Magaldi, among the speakers will be Vincenzo Ardizzone, CER Technician - FICEI Consultant, Simone Benassi, Head of Energy Communities Italy Enel X, Ermete Realacci, President of the Symbola Foundation, Piero De Luca, Deputy Parent Company PD C.D. – Signatory Proposal of CER Law in industrial areas.
