Le Iene: The future of energy is here with MGTES

Magaldi Green Thermal Energy Storage starring in the Italian TV program "Le iene"; green energy from sand.

"The future of energy is already here", says the TV report from Le Iene which describes the innovative Magaldi-patented #MGTES Magaldi Green Thermal Energy Storage system.

Energy scenarios face unprecedented challenges. After decades of unheard alarms on climate emergencies, energy policies are finally at the center of global attention and debate. We know that the integration of green technologies to innovate energy systems would make it possible to abandon fossil sources and to bet on the great potential of renewables, in favor of energy autonomy, sustainable development and long-term economic growth of countries.

This is a crucial mission for our future and Magaldi Green Energy - the energy startup of the Magaldi Group - was born for this purpose. It is no coincidence that its first innovation is precisely MGTES - Magaldi Green Thermal Energy Storage -, an accumulation battery of thermal energy based on sand that allows to implement industrial decarbonization and to overcome the dependence on gas through an innovative integrated system of production, storage and release of green and clean thermal energy, designed for industrial and commercial uses.

MGTES generates steam at high temperatures, starting from 150-400 degrees, necessary for energy-intensive industries (paper, food & beverage, chemicals, plastics, etc.), all industries that, today, are heavily dependent on gas, used for the production of heat.

Magaldi thanks Le Iene for their visit and for their commitment to promoting awareness of the importance of the ecological and energy transition.
